The thread on common problelms and the the CPS recall got me thinking about what I keep in the glovebox for roadside fix'en. Remember guys these things need to fit in the glove box or consoul so no auto trannys and dual mass flywheels, LOL
Don't leave home without 'em
1. Cam Sensor, AND cheapo 10MM socket wrench
2. Door light switch, RH and LH
3. Fuze box relay
4. 194 bulbs
5. Fuel filter
i keep my Glock 9mm in my center console for easy access.
always carry a CPS, box of fuses (of all kinds) various bulbs, electrical tape, some emergency cash, flashlight, needle nose pliers, phillips head/flat tip screw driver, tire gauge, hose clamps (one of each size), extra hitch pin, etc. My glove box is full ... but the times i need something out of there it has saved me a LOT of headache!
well i tried to do this list when i got my first truck, unfortunatly for my glovebox i am an eagle scout. so needless to say the glovebox isnt big enough. the problem was easily solved, i got the bed tool box. my short list includes.
blanket,
toilet paper,
change of clothes
matches and a lighter,
machete,
rope,
30' tow strap
25 ft chain,
tool box with- std sockets, 1\4 to 1"
metric 10mm-19mm
comb wrenches with same dimensions
slip joint pliers, vise grips, hack saw, channel locks
hammer and a bunch of other tools
floor jack,
4x4
shovel
bag of sand
2 inch hitch and 2 5\16 hitch
washer fluid
spare blades
(there is alot more but this is all i got off the top of my head)
the glove box has- 1 pack of each bulb in the truck,
screw driver- std and phillips,
popcket screwdriver,
change
5 dollars
cam sensor
i would have to look to get the complete list, but thats all i can thin kof right now

Wouldn't it be easier to just pull a trailer with a spare truck on it? LOL
you all forgot the cordless drill, bit set, cattle ear tags and tagging pliers, tagging pen, extra hitch pins, soap, alcohol (rubbin), extra pair redwings, bib coveralls, extra carhart, extra reciever hitch, lug wrench, PB BLASTER, extra oil, and hydraulic fluid, extra extra knife, total power, lucas, or diesel kleen or additive of your choice, couple hundred feet of rope, and a hand saw (very handy), ATF, AND MUCK BOOTS for when ur buddys get drunk or putting out hay in the winter. either way, the uh "crap" gets deep, and some more stuff i'll think of later as i use it or need it and dont have it. oh, and the .30-06 Remington lol.
i always keep a ice chest with a 30 pack of good old budweiser in mine and i got a toolbox with 2 drills and 2 sawzalls since the airforce base doesn't like it when the trusty .44 magnum is with me i usually leave him at home
My .50 AE magnum won't fit in the glove box.....I don't think. Either way, I don't want my shiney Desert Eagle rattling around in the box. So for now I just stick to these.
Colone
Phone Charger
lighter
Owners manual
Strawberry smelling trees
bandaids
Everything else, I keep in my casket size toolbox.
I have been taking very carful notes. My glove box will have some of the things mentioned but not all, My 1911 45ACP stays on my belt and under my coat,(shirt, jacket, ect, ect) at all times.
