I can't really comment on the Pioneer because I do not have one, but if it still requires the disk to use the nav preventing you from using the DVD with out swaping disks, then I still wouldn't get it. With the eclispe, I can be using the nav at the same time my passengers are watching a movie, with the push of a button, the screen will toggle from nav to dvd.
Does the new pioneer have everything in the head unit? or does it still require a drive to be mounted under the seat?
