Back up lights

To test the bulbs and wiring you can always jump 12v to the circuit.
My guess , it needs cleaning or replacing.
I clean the ones I come across ...in this order
1) Varsol and a brush
2) compressed air
3) Lacquer Thinner and a brush
4) Compressed air with it wrapped in a rag
5) Electrical cleaner
all the time turning the switch collar to release as much grime as possible
Some people actually take them apart and then TRY to get them back together securely.

Awesome, I'll try to clean it if it dosent look somehow broken. Worst case senario; I'll have to get another piece. Advance Auto's website had the part for $42.00. Prob. cheaper at the local store.
