wiring topper stop light

Where do you hook up the topper stop light wire to in the back.

Look for the wire that is labeled "CHMSL", usually taped up to the rear of the wiring harness above the rear bumper.

When I bought the truck it had the wire hooked to a green wire behind the bumper. I do not see any label on the wire.

Maybe you can elaborate a little more on what you are trying to do?

Put a meter on those 2 wires and see if it gets V when the brake is applied.

I bought this truck with the topper on it but the upper brake light is not working. I checked the connection's. They have is wired with the ground hooked to the body of the truck behind the drivers side tail light and the power wire hooked up to a green wire with a black heat shrink cap on it that is located behind the bumper and just over the spare tire. I will try to check some voltage.
