use Co2 and have the loudest horns in town!! regulate it down to about 250 psi if
they can handle it.

OMG! Your funny! I once seen a semi with 4 train horns across the top! You should have heard that thing! The driver added 2 additional air tanks to the truck, and a second air compressor to handle them!

I have always wanted one too. I would have a blast going down the Las Vegas strip with them! hornblasters dot com is a good place to buy some and they have some funny videos of the in work.

the horns that were on this semi, were horns off of a retired train. I guess his father worked for a railroad, and brought them home.

Thumbs up

I have old 79 F250 with train horns they were from a train salvage, I bought a secondary air tank from a semi salvage for 30 bucks they have drain plug built in so you can drain moisture out of them caused by compressor. I found out the hard way but mount your horns so that crap like mud dust stuff like that can't get in the horns. There is a thin diaphram inside that can get buggered up. They are really loud so it does not matter where there mounted you will hear them.... They also have a screw set under each horn that will allow you to set the tune of your horns by turning one way will tighten the diaphram for a different sound!! I'm just running a little compressor of my engine. It does not take as much psi as you think to run them. May depend on the kind of Horn I guess!!! Good luck to ya Oh from the tank to the horns I have just a hand valve on my dash that you crank to the side for all out then back to close it. Those lines are 1/2 inch the less restriction the better.

On the protective collar around the top you see a bunch of letters and some numbers like TW 17.8 rhis is the tank weight empty. Somewhere around there it will or should have a tsnk pressure capacity.
