I dont like it when people criticize the motor and make claims when they dont even own one. It sounds like some people are doing just that. Ive had few problems with the truck but its fine now.

I don't care how many test miles they put on those things. Real world experience is the only thing that counts. When i see new 6.4 with 3200 miles being traded that makes me want to run right out and buy one!! WOW it must be the best thing since sliced bread. My 7.3 will still be running when ford decides what POS diesel its going to use next. 6.0, 6.4 wow they are really setting the bar high with those 2.
You dont even own a 6.4, what gives you the right to scrutinize an engine you dont even own? It's as if I were to say youre 7.3 is a POS ricers eat for lunch.
how can say that the 6.4 is a pos. When word is that the 6.4 is getting the same track record as the 7.3 in the amount of repairs. And the 6.4 is not haveing problems it is the computer and epa crap. Lets put the same crap on your 7.3 and see how well it does and what you have to say then.
No worries! I really meant General David Sarnoff, the guy who started RCA, and it looks like I meant General Motors! BEEEEEGGG difference! I shouldn't have been obscure like that, as it tends to confuse.
When I saw a reference to your ham call, and the word "Nipper" (the dog on the RCA Victor logo), I thought you might have been a part of the thousands who worked for RCA over the years. We were all like family.
You see ALOT more 6.7 Cummins traded in with low miles then the 6.4s, a local dodge dealer has five used 6.7s. The only reason they are traded in is probably due to fuel economy. I personally wouldn't trade my 7.3 for a 08 because the warrenty is so strict, but out of all the new trucks I think they are beautiful.
I was with my grandma a few weeks ago when she was getting her new mustang. Long story short a guy drove in with a 6.7l cummins that looked very nice, and drove out with a F450. Dont no what was wrong with the dodge or anything didnt get a chance to talk to him or the sales guy.
