Yep, fine engine and lasts forever, but you better not be in any hurry to get anywhere.

Thanks for the kind words!!

tomtoc - thanks! Found one off a 95 with the tach on car-parts for $45 shipped! Should be here in a couple days. Thanks!

TheRoadVirus - the 99 is a six speed - wouldn't have it any other way! I just got it over the summer.. Only mods so far are an air lid, an electric cutout, a Hurst shifter, and I changed the gear ratio from 3.42 to 3.90. It's black with T-tops.. Here's a pic

bfloyd4445 - How do I know if I have LSD? Is there an RPO code or something?

17fordguy - I am ordering a new set of lights on ebay soon. The previous owner said some kids kicked it off

Thanks again guys - I've been reading the back threads and learning a lot. Looking forward to learning even more!

You can tell if you've got limited-slip by checking the tag on the rear axle. If the code says something like 3L55, for example, then you've got 3.55s with Limited-Slip. If it says 3 55 you've got 3.55s without it. If theres no tag, check your driver door sticker and use this decoder:

Nice 'maro. The 6 spd is the way to go for sure.. except I bet the trans not letting you skip gears can be a pain (IIRC).

Nah - I went to radio shack to fix that.. There's a $0.45 resistor you can plug into the wire going to the solenoid which turns that off and you are free to switch to any gear at any RPM..
