Here is a set of pics showing just about my whole truck. I just let the camera do the work and hoped to pretty much get the whole truck in here. I might even see things in these pics I didn't know.
So if anybody notices something that needs attention or thinks it's a good or bad canidate for a restoration let me know what you think.
1978 Ford F-150 Super Cab 4x4 8' bed
I can see old bondo in there.
You can see some holes, but the tailgate works great!
You can see where my oil exited the breather... it flung everywhere.
So what do you guys think? I'm not done, but thought these would take long enough to load for now.
Looks restorable to me. Just have to take it down to the frame and do a complete restoration . Just depends on how much you like the truck, the parts are out there. Good luck.

That makes me feel better about the truck. I got it for $1600. Only front brakes and the one side had a craked rotor and stuck caliper. I just did the quick fix and replaced the hub/rotor with a used one. bought a new set of pads and caliper just to keep it stopping. But rears are shot. they replaced a lot of brakeline in the rear but it's pouring out behind the rotting drum that I need to replace. Brakes all around maybe this weekend?
Hey there, I noticed the Ohio plates. I grew up near Dayton OH before moving to Seattle.
The underside looks a lot like mine does. I plan on taking the bed off and cleaning the rust of the frame and other metal pieces and using POR15 or a similar type of paint to minimize the rust. Hopefully should keep her going a little longer. You may want to paint/undercoat some things under yours due to the salt on the roads. Good luck.
