Where can i get a new hood insulation. The other had about two quarts of oil in it. I set it in a bonfire and I'll tell ya. . . the oil burned off and it took a long long long time for the insulation to finally burn up.

Maybe you should consider doing the CCV mod to keep the oil out of the engine compartment.. It makes a big difference..
Wow I forgot about this thread. Kris you still have that insulation? I would like to get something on there. Oh and yes. . . if the amount of oil that was in the insulation was due to a CCV leak. . . . I think I would have some major problems! TBird those look pretty nice. Is that the sound deadening foam?

Yes, it's a material made for aircraft engine firewalls and bulkheads. It works excellent for underhood applications. Mine has been on since the summer and with the snows we've had and all the salt they throw down here in Michigan it's still spotless.
Someone e-mailed me about wanting a Heritage F-150 liner from me. Are there any differences in those and the regular F-150 hoods?
My goal here is to help folks out with modding the underhood - the decal looks great under there - and providing something that won't rot like the original liner. I haven't started making these for the F-150s yet, the Lincoln Mark VIII guys love these though, especially in car shows.
