I gots a Kodak Easy Share C653 Digital Camera that came with it's own software to download the pictures. Well, that software is a pain in the backside, leastways for me it is. Any recommendations on a super user friendly software for this camera? Then mayhaps I could get some pics loaded in my currently empty gallery...

I agree the Kodak Easyshare software stinks..
It takes longer to figure it out than downloading the pixs..
What I would recommend is forget the software you don't need it and it is a memory hog..
Just take the chip out of the camera and put it into a card reader connected to the USB port.. You might already have one built into your PC if it is new, but if you don't they only cost about $15 - $20
It will read the chip and you can just copy the photos to your Pictures directory using Windows..
This is what I do when I use my daughters Kodak camera
then for fun screensavers and photosharing i use Neros Photoshow.
it allows you to burn to cd/dvd with music in background.
also able to upload to photocircle to share with family
here is link for demo. http://www.usnero.photoshow.com/home

A delayed thanks for the advice. I deleted the Kodak software (after saving the pictures to a CD) and just let Windows pull the pics from the camera. It's soooo much easier. I also created a photobucket account and soon will throw some pictures on it and send a link to it for all to laugh at.
On another note, I am getting a new ruck! Actually am buying an old one of mine back from my brother in law that I sold to him a few years ago. My 73/77 Frankenford will more than likely go to a very good friend and I'll have my '86 back. Yup, pictures will be somewhere...

After the first camera with the Kodak software, I deleted it and bought an SD card and reader, for $30 I will never look back at software to get pics. Heck, even my phone has an SD card.
