Washer fluid everywhere
I'm working through a couple of little problems. I need to replace 4 door lock actuators. I see CUINAK's procedure. I'll get to that as soon as possible.
There is one more issue that has stumped me. I was trying out the rear window washer and nothing was coming out. I kept trying it and trying it, and nothing. So as I'm walking around the truck, I see blue washer fluid leaking out under the passenger side running board and a big puddle on the ground. Washer pump appears to be working good! I crawled under there but I don't see the washer fluid hose. I can't locate the leak. It appears to originate at the passenger rear door and is above the running board. Looks like it's in the body panel. I don't know.
Has anybody seen this problem before? Any ideas?
I appreciate any help.
V-10's rock!
Pull back the FRONT passenger carpet up against the outside of the truck...upper corner...not much needed to pull back...you will see a little "T" or "Y" fitting and a rubber hose...it is likely APART...put it together and you 'should' have function returned...I had this last year...it seems common...I thought about a zip tie...but figured if there was an ice block in the line...having a pressure 'release' would be good...
I'd check the inside by the passenger first...but 1 is right...rear has one too...I was lucky...only the passenger one was open on mine...if yours needs back too...check out post #7 in this thread...afreemanmd did an EXCELLENT job of describing what is needed!
