suspended headliner

has anyone ordered (or seen) the suspended headliner kit from either midfifty or LMC. I asked a question about a suspened headliner before and it seemed like the consensus was that they were no good. I think they have a more "classic" look to them, the abs ones from roddoors and the like look to modern and "hot-roddy." So anyone with any experience, please help. thanks,
matt

I've got one in my truck, that we made. I work in an upholstery shop, and it looks good. That's what I wanted for mine, and I agree with you they do look alot better than the abs ones, but in a pinch you could use the abs one and sew the headliner and then glue it to the board, that way it would look like you have a suspended one without all the aggrivation. Check out mine in my gallery, as I don't know how to post pics at all!! My wife does it for me.

P.M. me if you need any upholstery help, I'd be glad to help!!
