I will be doing my ww next week and was wondering if i need to replace my o-ring for the turbo,i have 62000 miles and if so can i get them from napa? Thanks.
If it isn't leaking now, I wouldn't pull the turbo. I would do the PITA non-turbo R&R of the wheel only and be done. I have not done this, and do not plan to, but if this was what I was doing I would not pull the turbo. Others will say pull it. Not me. Asking for problems you don't need. Just lay across the engine and do it.
I didn't remove the wastegate actuator though. You can get enough clearance without. It's tight, but you can. Also, I didn't completely disconnect the spider. There was enough play in the boots that it cleared the housing. I used airtools for almost all of it and still was pretty sore. I also used two screwdrivers to bind the exhaust wheel -- only one seemed a little risky to me. Good luck.
