Driving down the road and the truck powers off completely, no nothing, coast over to the side of the road and truck will turn over but no movement on the tach. WTS light won't come on. But truck will crank.
It was the fuse. I pulled the bottom red wire and rubber gromet off the driver's side of the fuel bowl and replaced fuse and truck started right up.
Now, how to get the fuel heater back to working. I pulled out the fuel filter and the loop wires that you can see, that the filter sits on has lost it solder on one side.
The Ford Truck dealer here quoted me $56 for the fuel heater with the part # of
F5TZ9J294A. Is this what I need?
They told me their is an internal heater and an external heater.
