It was the fuse. I pulled the bottom red wire and rubber gromet off the driver's side of the fuel bowl and replaced fuse and truck started right up.
Now, how to get the fuel heater back to working. I pulled out the fuel filter and the loop wires that you can see, that the filter sits on has lost it solder on one side.
The Ford Truck dealer here quoted me $56 for the fuel heater with the part # of
F5TZ9J294A. Is this what I need?
They told me their is an internal heater and an external heater.
How hard is this job and what tools will I need?
Thanks,
Fletch
Solder it back together....The stand pipe is a left hand thread .. I think 7/8 , crows foot will work.. BTW ..there is only one heater ,, its in the bowl....

I recently read that the fuel heater is also a milage improver as pre-heated fuel atomizes better and burns more efficiently
Thats something I have not though of with the fuel heater. I would have to believe though that once the fuel enters the head it gets heated plenty there. But I suppose that is very possible.
