I can give it a run after checking to see if the drain line is blocked and give some details to sounds and/or what lights up on the front as for the cycles.
Check the simple stuff first. The door seal often leaks.
We've had our door seal on our GE unit go about 3 or 4 times in the 8 years we've had our unit it could be that. We've also had the pump thing that bf250 is talking about go. It's gotten to the point where we don't trust the unit anymore and do the dishes by hand unless there is a huge load of them, one day we'll replace it.
You might try replacing the pump and checking the door seal but if it goes again shortly after fixing it just junk the thing and buy a new one because it seems once they break the first time they never work right again.
