Doing your own bed liner
Has anybody here tackled painting their bumpers and nerf bars with bed liner? Pics? Seems kinda pricey to have it done. The salt water here on the gulf coast plays hell on your vehicles.....Thanks

I used the DIY stuff from Walmart, only because it was on sale. It wasn't even bedliner - it was basically thick black paint that flaked off soon after. Last year, I used some asphalt resurfacing tar because we had half a bucket left over from doing our black top driveway. It's not too durable, but it's an excellent skid resistant surface, has a sandpaper feel to it.
Someday I'll spring for the Linex, but not anytime soon.
