I did a search on www.car-part.com in Illinois, looked for hub for a 81 f250, and this place came up.

Thanks aton, Im going to call some local places tomorrow, but will let you guys know what happens. Thanks
OK I called my local salvage yard ad he has a 1985 hd 3/4 ton, 4x4 manual lock outs. But the parts I need are the drivers side, and he only has the passenger side. I assume that both sides are the same, am I correct?
I got the parts off that 85 today and they look to be the same. But one thing i didnt see was the big spring. I remember seeing it when I took my hub apart, but this truck didnt have one in there. Is the spring inside the lockout hub?
hey Franklin2, sorry to hijack the thread, but how does that big nut that clicks work to set the bearing play? Does it automatically lock in place or what do you do? Thanks, Jesse
The later model I worked on (a 89 f250) had the nut that clicked, and you just turn it till the bearing play is gone, and yes it seems to self lock. But that is different from the setup this thread started with. You have to pay attention to the older setup with the two locknuts, or your wheel will try to fall off like his did.
Well she is on the road again, I went ahead and checked the other side to make sure the nuts were on right and they were, so I should be good. Thanks for all the help
