I don't EVEN have to think about whether or not I have it!! (the ENVY, that is)

Brandon... looks like the open end only goes about half way up inside the cavity. Is it tapered, or a straight shot up inside? I've already got some thoughts about how to retain an inner sock up inside there.

I was just in Prattville today on an "emergency" trip but couldn't break away to contact you. I should be going back down again really soon, and we'll get together and talk about my ideas for your "beta" cover.

Filter is right under 100 shipped, and the whole kit is just under 200 shipped. Look https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...ternative.html for the number and I talked to a guy named Mike when I ordered mine today.

Pete, Yes it is tapered 5" mouth to a 3" bottom, about 3.5" deep. fits over the feder sleeve hole perfectly. Call me whenever you have time. For graphics I am thinking the aFe logo (Ive got a sticker you can scan) and a catchy phrase that is yet to be thought of.

Jamin is correct on the pricing.

It is a Proguard 5 filter, the shipping reciept said it was called the Big Boost PG5

here it is installed.

Rich, I got your care package today and will get that on the way soon.

Hmmm, I think I like that unit. I need to look up the AFE flow #s. I'll never buy another filter with this setup. Use the 6637 as a spare during cleaning and re-oiling.

DING DING DING, great minds think alike.

As far as the flow numbers, I dont think aFe has them published anywhere that I could find, but if Chris' aFe tapered cone can flow 850CFM, then this should flow as much if not more.
I will call aFe tomorrow and see if they can give me the flow numbers.
