Hey everyone... I finally got to putting the OEM Harley Davidson headlight assemblies on the X yesterday. I wasn't sure how they would look before I installed them... I wondered how the Harley tow hooks would look without all the chrome of that the regular headlights have... but as you can see, there still is enough in the Harley assemblies to compliment the Harley tow hooks... and visa-versa.
What do you all think?
I CAN NOT WAIT until spring to install the OEM SD 20's. (pics in gallery).
For whatever reason, the pictures make your Excursion appear as if it has a large gap between the grille and hood. The new lights make it appear as if this gap extends beyond the grille on both sides. Does it look better in person?
Thats what I want to do put 05 light in my 01. Here is what you have to do http://www.puredieselpower.com/Tech/...Conversion.pdf
Tells you all about it. If you do it can you tell me how it went so I know what I'am getting into

Now that I look at it... yes, the gap does look big... I'm going to say it has to do with the fact that I took the pictures from a low height of about 3 or 4 feet... most people would stand up and click... I like to get low... makes the X look even bigger.
Thanks for the honest critique.
