hello everyone well here is my delema i bought this 85 bronco with 4.9ltr from a friend he had it for years but isnt a very good fixer of things. he attached a plow to it and was plowing his drivway for the last 5 years with it. i just bought it from him because he bought a new truck. so now that ive replaced the cap rotor wires fuel filter all the brake lines and calipers and wheel cyl's i have a truck that will run but wont idle i also think he had removed some vacume lines and possibly put them back on wrong its a carb bronco so im looking for a schamadic for the vacume routing or any thing else that someone may have an idea on this problem i was looking at the iac and thought that may be it because when driving it seems ok just at idle very rough thanks in advance also this is just going to be a plow truck for my yard so im looking for a quick fix due to weather going to be here soon snowy. ive also got parts on this i do not need like the rear seat in very good shape and may also sell the top and convert it to a truck

Autozone.com has wiring and vacuum diagrams online for free and bunch of other
info you almost don't need to buy a manual!! Run some gas line dryer at least 4 bottles or so and some carb cleaner after you run the tank to about 1/8 tank. If
that truck is used for less than 20 miles a day You need to take it on the highway
at least once a week and run it for a hour at high speeds and vary the throttle along
the way say do 10 minutes at 55, 5 minutes at 70, 10 at 60mph then do some around
town driving and basically get the motor, trans, transfer and diffs up to temp to burn
off any carbon on the valves, pistons, head and to boil off the water from the fluids!!
thanks for the info but like i said its a lot truck just for plowing and not registerd so i wont be taking it out on the road at those speeds ive added some drygas to it and fresh gas so ill see if it helps i still think its a vacume issue and was also wondering what i can take off this motor just to have a plain set-up its not for road use and doesnt need any emmision on it so tell me guys what can i start pulling off this to make this easier to work on thanks again
You definately need to bring that puppy up to temperature to burn off all the carbon
in the motor. See if your state has a temp plate or maybe you can claim it is a farm
vehicle and put slow mover triangle on it or something just so every now and then
you take it out and open it up!! If the majority of the fuel stays in there for close to
90 days I would use Stabil double dosed to keep it fresh. You can remove alot of the
smog stuff start with the cat first then the air pump deal and see how that is.
