1968 GT350 Carburetor C8ZF-C,D early cars Autolite carb
C8ZF-C = 302 4V S/T with T/E -1968 Mustang
With open emission: all are 302 Mustangs ~ C8ZF-A; B; L = A/T; M = S/T.
1965/72 Ford car parts catalog doesn't show a Ford 4V for 1968 GT350's, only Holley's. Open emission: C7OF-A; -B / With M/T & T/E = C8OF-C; / With C6 & T/E = C8OF-D.

well, did you measure it yet? ...if you have a 351W then just measure them both from bolt hole to bolt hole across the intake, don't get any easyer then that..... the carb will fit any 4bbl manifold as long as it's got a square flange.....
my bet is it's a 302 manifold.....and not a 351W manifold....
Okay, that makes more sense. I thought you wanted me to measure from bolt hole to hole on the same side, so that confused me. Ill do that tomorrow./ Thanks
Well, the casting number is as follows:
C8ZE 9425-A
Hope this helps
That's the 4 bbl intake for the so called "J" code 302 4 bbl engine. Same intake as the older 289 4 bbl intake, just a newer casting number. I sold one of these a few years ago. Worth about 50-75 dollars, maybe more to a person restoring a 68 Stang or Cougar with the 4 bbl engine. The date code would come into play there as well as the casting number.
Yep, one of only 4 years that the 302 came with a 4bbl. 1968,1983,84,85. (69 & 70 BOSS 302's don't count)
My friend has one of these cars, a 68 Mustang GT 302 4V C4 trans 3.25LS 9".
It ran fine on his before he pulled the original engine and installed a 393 stroker
It will not fit a 351W. You could use the carb, but not the intake manifold.
I found the firing order under some more crap. It goes 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. The manifold also has a spacer that vents the PCV gasses into the intake manifold similar to a EGR.
One intake with the same casting numbers just sold the other day on ebay for about $50. It could fetch more if you located the right buyer looking for a specific date code. The date code is cast into the intake too. It's a number/letter/number combo on what looks like a cast in tag
Im going to sell the manifold, PCV spacer and carb on ebay and Ill post links on this thread if anyones interested. Im pretty sure its for a 302 by the firing order and I found more numbers which im pretty sure denote a mfg date.
