I found this carb in a garage that I cleaned out and I took it, but I dont know what it is off of. It has a metal tag on it that says Autolite C8ZF D. What year is this carb for and for what engine? Also, the manifold was attached to it and it has the firing order written on it, and it starts on the pass. side and goes in order numerically 1,2,3,4 on the pass. side, then from front to back on the drivers side, 5,6,7,8. Does this help? I want to put it on my 351W, bu I dont know if it will fit.
Well a C8 number would have been started use in 68. Is it a 2 or 4bbl? Those numbers you listed are the cyl numbers. Is there a firing order listed? How about a pic? Is the tstat housing attached? How wide is it?
Yes, the numbers are the firing order, and they are written on the manifold. The Tstat housing is in the manifold, and its a 4BBL. Its not very wide, maybe 8 inches across, but thats a very vague estimate. I dont see where a EGR would hook up to it though.

What you have described is not the firing order. Those numbers correspond to the cylinder numbers cast on the intake runner to each cylinder. The firing order is never 1 through 8 in order. If the intake manifold has the firing order on it it will have hyphens (-) between each number.
