Will snap on replace these wrenches?
This jerk lives in town with a head so big i'm surprised he can get it thru his truck door, he has big buck power boats and all his vehicles are blinged to the max in the driveway and street. I will not support this bast**d. When they **** on the little guy like me, **** on Snapoff, my money stays in the wallet not on their overpriced tools.
I sent a email to higher up in the Snapoff company and received a nice reply, BFD!

Actually, my floor jack bent it

I've had the same experiences with the local Snap-On guys here. Trying to make a buck, and if they don't get the buck from you, your scum on the bottom of the pond.
Now the MAC guy, that's a whole different story. I had a real good MAC guy, who even helped me out after he quit selling MAC three years ago. I had ordered a tool offline for a VW headbolt, but it turned out to be the wrong size. I didn't know he stopped selling, just called his number on a toolbox calendar I had on my toolbox. He ended up calling the guy that took over in the area, and had him come to my house. I swapped that tool and he sold me on a European Head Bolt set, that included everything.

You may not want to buy a slugging wrench, but welding a 3/4" to 1/2" drive impact stepdown adapter to the "eye" of an old truck or car pitman arm (look for strong and straight-ish ones) makes a nice one. I just slice off the protruding ball joint with a chop saw.
You can hold it with an extension through the eye while smashing the end with a hand sledge. Extensions allow standoff from the wheel if needed, or let a helper stand clear when you use a sledgehammer. Never met a CV nut this wouldn't loosen if the tire was holding the hub from moving. If there is no wheel (as in junkyard scrounging) I lock the axle with a good pipe wrench.
Also works great on flywheel/flexplate bolts. I grind off the chamfer from the sockets I use on shallow-head fasteners for better grip.
