Cool More 6.9 Starting problems!!

So my 6.9 will not start w/o ethier, so I just give it a quick shot, and it usually starts. After it sits for a while, I have to shoot it again before it will start. Well today I got to my grandparents house and was out of my truck for like ten mins. When I got back in to start it, it started, but died after i reved it up. I figured that I flooded it, so I let it rest for about three mins. When I went to start it, it turned over but wouldn't start. I shot it with ethier, and it turned over and tried to start, but wouldn't. When I tried to start it again, I all I heard was a click. Not like the batts were dead, but just one tick. I left it alone and went home. Four hours later when my dad went with me to look at it I felt the starter, and it was still warm. I think that the starter is out, but it is a brand new starter. He thinks that the motor is seized. What could it be?

Sorry for the long post, but this is my first truck. I bought it for $800, and my dad was against it. So far we have put about 1200 into it to get it to where it is now.

did it make any funny noises when it died or when you tried to start it.
if it is standard trans put it in gear and rock it sound like your starter stuck in.
what kind of shape is your batteries and cables main cause for bad starters is low voltage. If a starter fixes it get your gps working it never gets to cold there for it to start without bock heater.

Batts are brand new and fully charged. It is an auto tranny. I havent checked the cables. I have tested the GPs and they all work. I dont have a block heater. It broke, and I just put a freeze plug there.

What is the fuel level in the tank selected........at or below 1/4.......

Where did you get the starter....... take it back.

I see you have an auto trans have you tried playing with the selector lever when attempting the start...... nuetral and park wiggle it.....

knash it does not get cold enough ib bryan to need a block heater if gps working. what brand gps did you put in it. there is some good threads on manual plugs in here.
If the starter is stuck you can try rocking the moyor with a socket on the front.
If the gps are working you don't want to use either. I would test them.
