My BF Goodies
Well, I went out last week and finally bought some Tires,-BF Goodrich TA/KO's
31x9.5x15's and some funny things were goin'on after I took it out on the road.
I Immediatly noticed the tranny whining out on take off from a stop, or accelerating to a higher speed, and off the bat, thought the tranny was starting to fail, My Mileage was really bad too.-so, unknowingly, i was nursing it when I drove..I was figuring that the extra tread, and height was doing it..
I had 235/75x15's on it B4 which is not a real big jump,-mabey an 1 3/4" or so in height, but today I ran it good!
and after about 60 miles it straightend out and started acting much better
I explained this to another ford guy today and he staightened me out by saying the Computer had to re-adjust for the new tire size?, my mileage changed considerably today after the long run-I can relax now!
