I broke the lense on the passenger side turnsignal marker light on my 2003 F-450. It is a XL model truck but it has the XLT style headlights. My question is how does a person change it and where do I get a turn signal assembly ?
I broke the lense in a windstom and a air born branch took out the corner of the lense and bulb
Now I need to replace it but I'am glad it missed the headlight or didn't do any other damage.
So what is the steps involved in replacing the assembly ?
i had to replace mine when i bought my truck, all i did was go to my parts store and order what i needed, was something like $70 i think for the assembly, just remove the 3 or 4(can't remember exactly how many) set screws and pull the assembly out, need to pull pretty hard
bbender85, I'm looking for the driver side turn signal, tried to PM you but your box is full and can't take any more till you clear some out. PM me if you still have one and are willing to part with it. Thanks
theres two screws under the corner light that you need to pull out, there are no "set screws". Pull those two screws out and put one hand on the outside edge of the lense and your other on the underside of the lense and give 'er a good pull. I replaced mine with some off ebay and i payed no more than 40 shipping and all for the pair.
