running lights flicker

running lights flicker

this morning when i turned on my truck, i pulled the running lighs on. When i did that, they started to flicker. I shut them off and pulled them back on a few different times and they did the same thing, each time they flickered a few times and then stayed on... when the engine came down to low idle it seemed fine, i could put the lights off and turn them back on with no flickering... has anyone ever had this happen? Im not too sure what it is, i dont think any wires are loose, i havent messed with anywires lately either

Loose ground or hot?
Even broken fuse (not blown), I had a fuse on my Kawasaki KLR that somehow broke in the middle, so sometimes I had lights, sometimes I didn't.

Ok i think the switch to turn the lights on is starting to go. Is it easy to replace this switch? let alone get a hold of one

I had to replace the switch as well as the connector to the switch on mine.

Be sure and look at the connector when you unplug it, mine was burnt some and kinda melted.

Alright i'll take a look at that. Was it hard to replace?

I know on the older mustang 1 of the main power wires was too small a guage and the wire would burn up and kill the multifunction. The headlight switch isnt too bad to change, I think i had a harder time to get the **** off then the switch out. LOL

I was wondering if my HID's had anything to do with it, but i dont know why it would. Its only the amber lights and dash lights that flicker, the headlights do not flicker
