decode rear end

I need to know the gear ratio in my 2 trucks 1982 f250 reg. cab code 37 1985 f250 super cab code35 can anyone decode these for me ? or where can i look these up ? thanks ken

Try this site. I tried just putting your rearend code in, and it would not work. Maybe it will work if you put your vin number in with it.

I tried both vin's and nether worked thanks anyway. Anybody else have any ideas ??? ken

Just jack the truck up and put in neutral, Mark the drive shaft and the tire, Turn tire one rotation and count the number of times the driveshaft goes around. 3 and a half
turns = 3.55:1 4 turns and a couple degrees = 4.10:1 Someone may have changed
the ratio and left the stock tag, you never know!!
