once again this is on a 95 powerstroke... alot of times when I am coming up to a stop sign, when I push in the clutch and let off the gas it will chatter real hard like its about to die then will smooth out to a regular idle... it will also do this sometimes when I crank it up... my old 91 7.3 did this also.... any ideas?
Is your clutch adjusted properly? Maybe it isn't fully disengaging when you press the pedal before coming to a stop. Mine truck is an auto, so I'm shooting in the dark on this one.
True on the flywheel. Mine went bad and darn near bounced the truck off the road. But it never made it die, but it is possible. They shake very hard when the bearings go out on them.
