I just installed a Truxedo Truxport cover on my 06 SCREW and I am very impressed with its looks. However I have adjusted it per the instruction and a little more. It rises about 2 inches in the front and flops going down the road at any speed. Is this what everyone else notices on thier covers. All feedback is appreciated!
On some applications there is a gap on the front bulkhead because of the side rails being higher. That would probably be the case in the newer Ford Supercrews. The instructions do state that extra seal might need to be placed at the front bulkhead in certain situations. If you want to email or call me with your shipping information, I would be happy to send you some extra seal.
As for the movement of the cover, I would check to make sure that your cover is tight on the sides as well as your tension adjustment (which only adjusts front and back). The Truxport covers do expand in colder temperatures (the opposite of what you might think), so it may need to be pulled tighter on the sides. But no matter what you do, you will never have "no movement". It is a soft cover, and the air flow coming over your cab is very strong. That is one of the reasons you will save on gas. It's pushing on the cover instead of going into your truck bed.
