i have a 2001 f250 and i just have the little mirrors can i put the big towing mirrors on my truck without any modifications. also my mirrors are power now will the wiring harness work on the new mirrors

As to adding the tow mirrors, yes. And It would surprise me if the wiring harness you have now wouldn't work for power tow mirrors. If the wiring harness didn't line up you can always hard wire after you determine a schematic or find a schematic for the interchange. Just mounting the mirrors is simple from what I've read. Remove the rubber plugs on the inside of the door and unscrew.

Welcome to FTE.. As for the mirrors, My truck came with small mirrors also. I changed them out to the tow ones also. Very easy to do, just bolt right onand plug right in to regular harness.

my truck had manual tow mirrors when I bought it. I replaced them with the signal/tow mirrors. It was a fun project installing all the wiring and getting it setup. I love power mirrors!
You can get an adapter at the stealership for the newer style plug. It will be an easy swap. BBW, stay away from aftermarket mirrors!
