49-52 door hinge question

Hi guy's, have any of you with the F-1's ever changed your door hinges so that they were hidden like that of the F-100's. A friend of mine that's building a 52F1 asked me today if it could be done, my reply was yes not that I'm sure I'd want to tackle it but I thought that I'd seen a package offered somewhere for this modification, does any of you know if this is true and know who offers it?

I asked this about a year ago. The answer was no, but a set of Bearclaws could be modified. Or cut, recess, and add your own from a newer vehicle.

Custom truck mag

There was a 49 in Custom Truck Magazine a couple months ago that had shaved hinges; from Hagar I think. I've looked at their website but didn't find much info.

there's a kit by Hagan......a lot of work.....but like removing the driprails to look "smoother", it always ends up looking naff!
