I would say if kings are to pricey. Radflow coilovers, swayaway coilovers to. And to be honest the coilover is what sets the Hightower. It can be lowered or lifted. At least a nice one.
Didn't someone mention the air bag option? This looks like a nice kit. High Intentions, I don't think it will serve your purpose, but I did notice they have lifted options available.
Yea Radflow Has a website just google radflow suspensin or coilovers. honeslty I would just go with king. lol Your sending the money and its all about the coilover, so why cut your self sort lol.
Air bags are really lame and I dont want to ride on something that can pop and air compressors and all that crap. I want s four link and Something Im not worried about angle and on or offroad.
Fair enough. You raise some good points. I guess if the OP's wife cannot agree with the increase in height from the coil conversion, the bags could be an alternative for him to get away from the leaf spring front suspension. He stated he had no room for a 2005+ F250 donor and his HOA would freak out if he did anything but a short term (bolt on) project. I'd love to see a bolt on stock(ish) height coil over option. Are you saying King offers that?
No im saying King is the coilover that you should use for the coversion.
Here is the link for the coilover conversion.http://www.full-traction.com/detail....NOTES=Anywhere from four to 8 inches. I myself am goning to go with a 5 inch (keep in mind you adjust it to prefrence). I want my excursion to have plenty of ground clearence so 5 inches should te perfect for full funtion and tires allow larger tire Sizes like 37 inch tires. Of course with Fiber glassfenders and custom bumper so i have no rubbing issues.
