You can also look into SkyKing Coilovers. They make about every size you can think of, and if you, or any one you know has any fabricating skills, you can easliy make, or even buy the control arms, and set everything up. That is the way I would do it. Offroad makes a huge difference between coils and leaf springs, ride quality, flex, everything just gets a little better.
I made a mistake, Skyking is made by skyjacker, its just King Coils. Check them out on ebay, you will be able to find them on there. I tried to find the website but I was unable to do so. I'm at my office and our restrictions are retarded, I guess it was considered entertainment by the restriction thing, not really sure what that thing would call this website, but oh well.

I found Skyjackers web site. Here is the link for a 6" Coil over kit:
Just a thought, has anyone access to Ford part numbers that they could come up with a complete parts list of OE '05+ F-250/350 suspension components to make a complete setup to mirror how the '05+ trucks are setup?
One problem I can think of is the '05's are using Dana 60's where the Excursion and F-250/350 pre '05 are using Dana 50's. The bracket that is welded (maybe it is bolted) to the axle where the radius arm / control arm bolts up to, could that bracket be bought seperatley and installed on a Dana 50?
looks like 4" full traction, if you want the conversion. the turning radius from an 04' leaf to a 05' coil CC, long bed was 5'5" less. Adjusting the stops a little.

Do you think you could just get the entire front end from a donor truck from a junkyard or something. How did 7.3 Ex do it?
Unfortunately I live in Yuppie Suburbia Ville w/ HOA Covenants. I don't have the space (or the place to hide) such a parts vehicle right now (Oh how I yearn for the old days). I need kits or parts I can just add to the ride. My problem - Not any of your worries!
If anyone has access or knows where I could purchase the Ford Parts Master CD for an '05 - '07 F250/350 I would greatly appreciate it. I think I am going to try to acquire parts and go that route. - Thanks!

I'd say go with the 6" and buy her some steps or running boards, My wife only complained about the height 'til I finished it, now she won't give it up. LOL
On the Fabtech 6" Coilover kit; does anyone know or take a good guess - that if custom coil were made lowering the vehicle height another 2" to essentially make a 4" lift. How far would that push the axle forward and possibly bind up the spring in relation to where the spring perches/buckets mount to the frame?
The only way on I know how is to try it, I have made some models and drawings and don't see it being a huge issue. But I do know on the '05 Superduty lift kits that they are making a taller bracket (where the radius arm mounts/pivots to the frame), dropping the radius are down in relation to the spring height. Am I making any sense?

Yes your questions makes sense. I am not personally familiar with any of these Leafspring to Control Arm suspension lift kits so I would not be able to answer your question accurately. However, I am very familiar with similar issues on much smaller 4x4's and the amount the axle would mover forward would be insignificant (I would suspect you would never notice or would the spring or coilover ever notice).
However, I would be more concerned with your ability to adjust the castor of the front axle (too much castor with the shorter spring on a longer control arm) and how that might afect either your steering and or your front driveline bind, vibration, or length. Are these control arms not adjustable? If so, they should easily be able to adjust enough for the shorter coilovers.
Stock height when the Mrs. is on board OR 4" lift when rolling with the big dogs on the block... Complete and 'bolt-on' this seems waaaaay easier and maybe cheaper than a late-model conversion!
full traction suspension is the one im going with. i just got off the phone with the Guys from there. They knew it all work with the best coilovers, and were way cool, and there price wasnt bad. considering coilovers cost about 1600 or more and there full system was about 5,000 or you could even split it up and just buy the front and set up the rear with deavers or whatever your needs are.Full-Traction Suspension Ford F-250 Super Duty 2000-2004 Super Duty 4wd Pickup 4-Link ICG Coilover Conversion System
