Power steering

Afternoon gents I have found this forum to be most useful and appreciate all the input received. Have another question. 1996 F250 Diesel. Is there a way to somewhat adjust the steering box to get some of the play out? Thanks Maxx

you can go more then a 1\4 inch but only do it in 1\4 inch increments. then drive and go a little more if needed, i was able to get all the slop out of my truck with 230k on the origonal box. if you go too much it will act as though the powersteering pump isnt working, just back the nut off a 1\4 turn and try that
