Steering Pulley
OK all you experts out there, does anybody know the diameter of the stock power steering pulley on a 73 F250 4x4 with 360? Will a general pulley in those years work?

You didn't miss it.
The only thing the 73/79 truck parts catalog lists is the correct part number and the 7AA stamp number. I had to go to the 1965/72 passenger car parts catalog to find the rest of the info.

Is the 3/8" sheeve built into the pulley, or is that a seperate part?

The belt groove in a pulley is called a sheeve.

Ok, didn't know that. I though the sheeve had something to do with the hub that presses on the shaft. Good to know!

NumberDummy, I found a pulley on an F250 360 with the following numbers:
C7AR-3D673-A
Size matches, but don't know about the dish on the hub. Will this work?

That looks like it is from a 67-69 vehicle
I suspect the sheave is a different size
I don't have that book to verify
The OEM stamping for your year is the one already mentioned but may interchange okay
