no no, i dont think its in the oil, i did a change a little while ago. One of my hoses was leaking last year and i needed to replace it. Unfortunetly the hose wasnt on the top of the system so we had to move fast and plug it up, so we lost a bit of fluid there. I just may have not filled it back to its proper place. And i'm not burning oil so i know my gaskets are good( i have a ford not a shi**y berretta)
hey, i finally got my heat fixed thanks to u all. had done every thing but heater core and freeze my butt off, for 2 years. yeah i know its stupid to let it go that long, but when u are a lazy *** what can u say? lol changed the core this morn,[ bout 2 hours i aint as fast as y'all. lol] now i have to run it on low speed. its hot. thanks to all of u. i been reading what ya'll say and try to do it just as u say do it. again thanls to all

Had this once on a 78 F150. The heater core was plugged. Found out that the passages in the heater core are much smaller than the passages in a radiator and will plug up much easier.
This is going to sound really simple but I was having the same problem until about 10 minutes ago. I pulled the **** off of the dial that you turn in the truck to go from hot to cold, and twisted the **** on the inside with a pair of needlenose pliers. Voila, I have heat. Guess the **** just was loose and not turning from cold to heat.
