installing heated mirrors

i have a 2011 f250 xl has anybody installed heated mirrors on these?
I will need them when im plowing this winter

Actually I installed them on my 99. It would be the same concept. I just ran power wires to a toggle switch. Just make sure to put it on a timer or a lighted switch because I forget mine all the time. I don't know if you have had heated mirrors on a truck before but I am torn between them helping or not when plowing. Last year when plowing it was nice for them to help with the ice, but once they got warm the water droplets and snow hitting them turned to slush real quick, and I still had to clear the mirrors by hand. Anyways just trying to help. But they are not hard to wire up.

Pop the door panel off and see if the heater wiring is in the wiring harness in the door. It probably is. If so, it should be a plug and play installation. Half hour max for both mirrors.
