F150 repair manuals - whats the best?
The absolute best would be Ford Motor Company 
I just started looking through mine (for '85 model year) and its got a whole lot of good information, never mind that it shows you exactly how it was done in that particular year (vs the 16 year cycle of one company and the 9 year of another(haynes and chiltons)).

F150 repair manuals - whats the best?
I got mine through a gent on Fordsix.com. Your dealerships may have already thrown out the old books or sold them off, but its worth a shot. You can also keep an eye on ebay as they they come up with some frequency. Beware, you are going to pay more for the Ford version than the others (I think I paid $60 or something vs the $20 ea for the Chiltons or Haynes).
