I agree.. my pedal stuck on the floor a couple of times when pulling a trailer. I kinda thought that part was NOT cool but I adapted to it over the past few months.
The problem is,, your foot comes up, the pedal stays put and when it does POP up, it basically POPS the clutch and makes for some jerky trailer pulling.

I was doing some reading about that, and there is a helper spring that makes it easier to push the clutch down that is recommended to be removed. This fixes that problem.
Important
This clutch design will offer a very soft pedal. When truck is modified and under load the clutch pedal may stick to the floor.
Remedy
Remove the helper spring on the clutch pedal. By doing this, it will not only firm the clutch pedal up some, but resolve any clutch pedal inversion problems.
I long ago removed my helper spring.
I also rigged up a spring to pull the pedal all the way to the top of the stroke so that there is a bit of free play. That allows the clutch master cylinder to unload and fully extend.
Whatever clutch you choose you can't go wrong with the kevlar pilot bushing. Even if you went with a factory clutch I'd get the kevlar bushing. Those cheap plastic things Ford uses for the pilot bearing seem to be the weakest part of the link.
I have read every thing I can find on the clutch, I think I am going to go with the LUk 07-155 kit.
What can be said about the how they sound on install?
