https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/confused.gifI have about 116K on my 89 4.9L and it has recently started to make a sort of grumbling noise at low RPM starts and it does i briefly if I rev the engine a little. There doesn't seem to be any performance loss, just a sort of embarrasing grumble. I think the previous owner was kinda rough on it. He drove it on a leaky power steering pump that needed fluid every two or three days. If any body knows of similar cases or has any idea of what it is I would be gladsmilie('
