Man, If that was closer to me, I would ****** it up. Would be a little concerned about the roof. I know a guy that had one like that, but the year is just right for a Ca. truck. No emissions.
A little too far away though. Hope somebody saves it.
Duh, I forgot about that. Still, highboys are not that rare. I would venture a guess that this truck is a bondo queen, they were too lazy to reach that high and hit the area above the cab.
Saw that one on eBay. Roof looks bad and it's evne a crappy pic. I'd hate to see it in person. $1500 is well more than I would pay for it - even if it was local....
The motor and tranny ain't worth that much, so I'm amazed that he'd put a $1500 reserve and yet willing to send it to the crusher. I have to believe that's just a ploy to get someone to buy it.
This guy even swears this truck is 95% rust free. The way he talks the only rust is on the roof, but that looks bad enough. He also said he put it under primer himself because he planned on keeping it and thinks it looks better that way. I was wondering about the bondo myself, but typically Texas trucks are pretty solid; still I'm a big suspicious myself.
Dang, according to that price, I overpaid for my crewcab.
$750, sitting in a field. Former maintenance neglect "but it kept running" case. Its a wonder somebody didn't get killed or left stranded on the side of the road.
