Replacing power door lock activator

Replacing power door lock activator
After I remove the door panel of my 2001 F350, I am not sure how to access the activator for removal and replacement. Can anyone help? THANKS!

I took the easy way out and went with a aftermarket activator switch. The switch was $5.50 and easy to install. Attach the connector rod that comes with the aftermarket actuator to the rod that goes to the manual lock/unlock control. Drill two holes and mount the new actuator on the inside of the door pannel. Attach one of the wires to the red wire going to the original activator and the other to the red with black stripe wire going to the original activator. Check for polarity and you are done.
