Overhead console Fixed!!

Well, I do believe it's fixed, thanks to all the help I got here!! Resoldered the resistor (on both ends), and now it comes on, and stays on, took it for about a 15 minute ride just to make sure, and no problems! Besides some of my time, the only thing it cost me was about $20.00 for some supplies at Radio Shack and a set of torx wrenches from Sears. Much better than spending $400.00 for a new part that would probably have to be resoldered some day anyhow! Thank you!

All the gas displays have that little burnt mark in the corner. When the glass is sealed, the first time you pass current through it, a "getter" burns all of any remaining oxygen out of the inside, leaving that mark.
In other words, it's normal.
