i have an 01 f250 7.3 psd 6 speed and i have a bully dog power pup programmer and the muffler cut off. Just curious if there is anything else that i can do like exhaust or intake that would make my truck faster and blow more smoke. If so what kind.

Get rid of the bulllydog, they only adjust the injection timing, and do not adjust the fuel map. More aggressive fuel is what makes smoke. Call the tech line and they will tell you.(been there done that) they will also tell you that they will not add any updates for the 7.3 PSD, as it is dead technology to them.
as far as intake and axhaust, the 6637Kwikk filter is good, as well as the Ford AIS, and the AFE stage 2. A good exhaust can be had from MKO (ebay) in either a 4 or 5 inch system.
Let me be the first on this post and say, why the heck do you want smoke? is it the wasted fuel economy your looking for? or is it the wasted HP; or both? possibly you do not like the environment or it just the "looks cool" factor?
From a diesel performance experts point of view, black smoke does not "look cool" it illustrates a poor turbo diesel performance set up. Too me moving fast looks cool and black smoke is not moving fast.

I'm with Dave. Black smoke is wasted power that is going into the atmosphere rather than turning the driveshaft.
I'd be wanting to re-direct that energy to where it was meant to go. Smoke just gives ALL of us a bad reputation, and discourages the idea that diesel is a cleaner technology, which it CAN be.
It's hard to argue with getting more horsepower for the same fuel used.

my 2 cents
Oh, Come On! You're going to try to tell me that Double Stacked 2003 2500 Dodge Lamb don't Smoke! Whatever...

Put a T in your fuel line after the fuel pump. Put a solenoid in that new line to a switch in your cab. Run the other end of the line to your exhaust pipe (near the front - maybe the muffler). Drill/tap the exhaust pipe and attach the fuel line with a fitting. Whenever you hit the switch you'll have plenty of smoke, though it won't be any faster.
Having Black smoke is one thing but wanting it and spending money to get it is another!
I guess its one of those compensation things LOL
Relax guys, its just a discussion and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I'm all for helping out with environmental issues, and I believe we all need to do our part to help make a difference. Maybe with the exception of that thing Al Gore is working on, but my F350 smoked while towing before I through tunes at it. And I'm doing my part by running ULSD and since June 2006 my contribution as well as other have benefits which include:
2.6 million tons of smog-causing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions will be reduced each year.
PM will be reduced by 110,000 tons per year.
In the long term, this program will result in more than $70 billion annually in environmental and public health benefits at a cost of $4 billion per year.
Health benefits will include the annual prevention of:
8,300 premature deaths
5,500 cases of chronic bronchitis
17,600 cases of acute bronchitis in children
360,000 cases of respiratory symptoms in asthmatic children
1.5 million lost work days
7,100 hospital visits
2,400 emergency room visits for asthma
Smog causes a range of health problems related to breathing, including chest pain, coughing, and shortness of breath. Soot is deposited deep in the lungs and causes premature death, increased emergency room visits, and increased respiratory symptoms and disease. With both smog and soot, children and the elderly are most at risk. Smog and soot also adversely affect the environment in various ways, including crop damage, acid rain, and visibility impairment. I've even sold my old boat and bought a new one with a Mercruiser Ultra Low Emissions Engine. I'm just bored and wanted to rattle someone's cage! Peace
Oh brother.... Soot is heavy particulate that settles. It doesn't go into the atmosphere like CO2 does to make smog. Yes, it's "wasted" fuel, but that's part of making power in a diesel. Name a truck that makes tons of power and I'll show you one that soots at first, or always under heavy loads (like towing up hill or accelerating).
