Got the Power Box Bracket fabbed and mocked in the frame. I'll blow it apart later to detail it. Used a length of PCV Tube to replicate a Steering Column to get the angle dialed in.
Thanks to Don and Bobby for the illustrations ! I used 3/8" strap and tapped the box mount holes in the Bracket (3/8"-24). If need be I can always stick jam nuts on the backside.
Lookin good. I used 1/2" x 2" flat bar for mine and made the sections that bolt to the top and bottom of frame longer so I could put in 2 bolts. Also a bigger tab to the side of the frame and used 2 bolts. I have done 2 trucks this way and no problems at all.
Be sure to check the clearance of the tire to the drag link when you are turning left. I had to put in a stop on the pitman arm because it turned to tight and the tire hit the pitman arm and caused a blow out.
