I just re-programmed my new remotes and it was super easy.
These steps were use for a 2003 model.
1. Get into truck and shut door (make sure doors are unlocked)
2. Put key in the ignition.
3. Turn key from the 2 (lock position) to 3 (off).
4. Cycle eight times between 3 (off) and 4 (on), within 10 seconds and on the eight turn you must remain in the 4 (on) position.
5. The doors will automatically lock and unlock, when this happens you must click any button on the remote transmitter(s) within 20 seconds or you’ll have to redo the entire process. Once you have clicked the remote(s) within the 20 seconds the doors will lock and unlock confirming the program.
6. Turn ignition to the 3 (off) and the doors will automatically lock and unlock to confirm the programming mode has been exited.
