New MAP
Thanks to everyone for their help. The picture really helped RÖENTGEEP.
I went by a Ford dealer to get the MAP and an Exhaust Backpressure Sensor today. They wanted $259.00 for the MAP alone! I left there and went to NAPA where I got their premium MAP for $169.00. I can't wait to hook that thing up and see if I can notice the difference. I have been towing tractors and pulled a fertilizer spreader with 3 tons of lime in it and 1750 lbs in the pickup bed. It had the power to take those loads faster than I wanted to go and feel safe (no trailer brakes).

New Map In Place
Hi guys:
I put the new map on this morning in the NAPA parking lot. The first thing I noticed was that the engine ran much quieter. Performance also seems to have picked up after the turbo kicks in. I also want to check the mileage and see how it compares to the "no MAP" mileage. All in all the truck runs much better.
I do have some funky vibration that seems engine related. If I am driving along and go through an area where I have to slow down to maybe 12-1500 rpm in 5th gear and I just accelerate without downshifting, I get an aggravating vibration. If I am in a lower gear and shower down on it, the vibration stops at about 22-2500 rpm.
Any thoughts? I may do a separate post on that one. I am glad I found this forum and can't thank you all enough.
