Let's count 'em up - Converts away from K&N
OK. Nothing really new here, except that I think it would be nice to get some hard data on how many folks have abandoned their old K&N days with their PSD's.
DO NOT VOTE if...
- you do not have a turbo diesel engine
- you have never run a K&N filter on your turbo diesel engine
I have tried to cover the options with how you can register your "count", but if I have missed a category, please forgive me.
Also, even if you switched from a K&N that was installed by a previous owner, I want your input because the whole point of this poll is to tally the "percent of people who have abandoned the use of a K&N filter" and a few reasons for why "I have not changed from K&N".
Now, in order to qualify for being counted, you must have a turbo diesel. If you are visiting from another forum and have a gas engine, please do not participate in this poll or you will skew the results. This is an honor system here.

I'm DQ'd as well, Dan. Hindsight already has me wishing I had included a 10th category for having "switched from stock and NOT chosen a K&N". Oh well, this is going to be interesting, I think.

I changed mine to the AIS Air Box
after I started spending more time on this Forum and found out how everyone was so anti-K&N and the effects it could have on the turbo wheel due to lack of filtration. 
This square filter (I'm sure it was a K&N it came with K&N's cleaner and oil) was included with the "sBanks Stinger Kit" I waisted my money on ( except for the exhaust that I like, they probably didn't make it. We need the same type of thread started for those who abandoned their "tuners/chips" and re-purchased a DP-Tuner!

i bought the truck with 125k on it..it had the 99.5 stock air box with the K&N drop in filter..air intake was dirty tube was nasty wheel was sand blasted.. put an AFE stage 2 on with the pro 7 filter at 130k..intakes been clean ever since with 175k now...
